The Zacchaeus Project is a ministry that is working and invites you to invest in order to realize Vision and Training Retreats in Colombia and Peru for 2020-2022.

It would be very difficult in this market to find such a well-equipped duo to transmit these spiritual concepts to people of influence who are cultured, academically equipped and financially solvent. Margarita sells, open doors and they listen to Richard.

What is the Proposal?

To help underwrite training national believers as relational evangelists and disciplers in order to influence the influencers – the decision-makers – of Latin America.

The request:

  • To participate in a 3-year commitment over a three-year period from 2020-2022.
  • You are invited to invest at whatever financial level as God leads you.

What do you hope to accomplish? Form relational evangelists
  • Be with; Be like
    • Relational evangelism, by definition, is based on people, people whom others find attractive and desirable to be with and be like.
    • Our mission is, through personal discipleship, to aid in the process of believers becoming conformed to the image of Christ so that others would want to be with and be like
  • Secondly, through vision and equipping retreats, to train and prepare these disciples in the skills of relational evangelism, apologetics and discipleship and how to use the Sentido a Tu Vida ministry tools in this process.

    Underwrite the $12,000 cost of each of the 6 Retreats; 3 in Bogotá and 3 in Lima.

  • 2. Vision and Training Retreats – One city

    Underwrite the $12,000 cost of each of the three retreats in Bogotá or in Lima.

  • 3. Follow-up Discipleship trips

    Underwrite 2 fourteen-day follow-up discipleship trips between Vision and Training Retreats. Variables such addition airfare, hotel nights and per diem food expenses depend on the number of travelers and length of stay.

  • 4. Follow-up Discipleship trips for one person

    Fourteen to 21-day trips to Lima, Bogotá, or other city in Latin America in between the Vision and Training Retreats. Variables such addition airfare, hotel nights and per diem food expenses depend on the number of travelers and length of stay.

  • 5. US Guest teachers

    In order to enhance and diversify the spiritual impact of each retreat we will invite an experienced and skilled relational evangelist from the US to join us. This has a double impact because it will expose the US ministers to life and ministry in Latin America.

  • 6. “Cross-Pollination” trips

    For every Vision and Training Retreat we want to invite two National believers from either Lima or Bogotá to join their colleagues in the other city. Some, but not all, of the National believers could afford to pay their own way. But to avoid awkward situations it would be helpful to be able to underwrite part or all of the cost of the trip. The average cost of $1,500 each trip between Lima and Bogotá includes covers airfare, hotel, ground transportation, food and materials.

  • 7. “Force multipliers”

    7 $3,000 “Force multipliers” Audio/Visual recording and editing of training sessions as “force multipliers” “Force Multipliers” are materials, tools or instruments that will enhance the transference of this incarnational ministry. This includes Website usage and maintenance, remote training and communication via ZOOM, and AV recordings of training sessions for multiple and repeated uses.
