The Zacchaeus Project is a relational evangelism and discipleship approach to reach for Christ influential Latin Americans – the decision-makers of today and tomorrow.
Richard and Margarita Houston and their Latin American disciples have demonstrated that this approach of going to people where they live and work opens doors to evangelize the normally spiritually distant and resistant elites of their society.
The Houstons possess two very important qualities for a ministry with Latin America’s decision-makers:
- A unique combination of ministry training and experience, language skills and social graces together with networks of established, long-term friendships with influential people in both Colombia and Peru, and…
- The opportunity and ability to teach systematically and transfer this relational approach to influential Latin American believers, a process in which they are currently
The request: To underwrite a three-year plan of “Vision and Equipping Retreats” to train and prepare influential Latin American believers to reach their peers for Christ utilizing a culturally appropriate, field-tested approach and highly effective proprietary materials.
Three Year Vision:
Mindful that they cannot promise what only the Spirit of God can produce, entering 2023, they envision 30+ highly motivated and fully trained business and professional Christians discipling 30-50 new believers to be the next generation of relational evangelists and disciplers.
